My path to becoming a counselor
My journey to becoming a counselor began with my own experience of healing from childhood trauma through therapy. It was a challenging, yet incredibly freeing process that made me realize I wanted to help others find the same liberation. Seeing clients discover their peace and serenity truly makes my heart smile. Walking with individuals on their journey to self-discovery and self-love is profoundly rewarding!
I often say, "Happy people don't hurt people," at least not intentionally. Perhaps I love my work for "selfish" reasons—the more happy people we have in the world, the better the world becomes. It is a privilege to contribute to that happiness.

A personalized approach to your well-being
I believe that no two people are alike, which is why I take a personalized approach to counseling. Techniques and interventions are tailored to your unique situation, strengths, and support systems. You are the expert of your own life, and my role is to help you untangle your thoughts and feelings, establish goals, identify barriers, and develop solutions to overcome those barriers.
Counseling requires effort and takes time, but we cannot heal or progress if we ignore the challenges we face. My goal is for you to feel accepted, validated, and heard. I aim to create an environment where you are comfortable with the vulnerability often needed to heal and thrive. You can expect empathy, compassion, and open-mindedness as we work together toward a healthier you.

Specialized support for your unique needs
I primarily work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD symptoms, and various life transitions. I also provide support to clients who have experienced sexual abuse or other traumas. I particularly enjoy working with the LGBTQIA+ community, addressing concerns such as family issues, relationship dynamics, discrimination, self-exploration, self-acceptance, and transitioning challenges.
My dedication is to provide a safe and understanding space where you can explore these issues and find effective strategies for healing and growth. Let's work together to address your specific concerns and build a path toward greater well-being.
